About The Position
A part-time Kennel Technician is sought for a fast-paced kennel connected to a well-established companion animal practice in West Chester, Ohio. The role involves caring for dogs and cats, maintaining kennel cleanliness, assisting clients during drop-off and pick-up, and using a computer system to manage reservations and check clients in and out. Candidates must be available on holidays and weekends, as well as during daytime and evening hours on weekdays.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to walk large and small dogs.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to work efficiently.
- Knowledge of basic pet care and husbandry.
- Availability for holidays and weekends, as well as day and evening hours during the week.

Responsibilities
- Walk small and large dogs on leash.
- Feed and medicate dogs and cats.
- Bathe dogs.
- Clean and sanitize the kennel and runs.
- Interact with clients during drop-off and pick-up procedures.
- Use the computer system to make reservations and check clients in and out.
