Junk Removal & On-Site Sales
About The Position
Southwind is hiring a Field Sales & Service Representative for its 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise group in Panama City, Florida. The role combines on-site sales and customer service with hands-on junk removal. Representatives create positive customer experiences, discuss pricing, close sales, provide estimates, and remove unwanted items from homes and businesses. The work includes driving and operating box trucks; training is provided. No prior junk removal experience is required. Daily recorded role-play scenarios support ongoing training, skill development, and performance improvement. This is a full-time position with 4–5 shifts per week, including one mandatory weekend shift and 3–4 weekday shifts. Shifts last 8–12 hours and may fall between 6:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., depending on business needs. Applicants must be available for four weekdays and one weekend day each week. Overtime may be needed. The stated pay is $22–$28 per hour or more, consisting of a $15 base rate plus profit sharing and tips. Employees must meet the stated uniform standards while at the office, including on or off the clock: brown belt, brown steel-toe boots, navy blue work pants or shorts, and company-provided branded polo, cap or beanie, and sweatshirt. A DOT Medical Card is required to drive commercial vehicles; Southwind covers the full cost of obtaining DOT Medical Certification. Advancement pathways include Certified Sales Leader, Senior Sales Leader, People Development, Operator, and General Manager, with promotion from within whenever possible.
