Junk Removal & On-Site Sales
About The Position
Southwind is hiring a Field Sales & Service Representative for its 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise group in Panama City, Florida. The role combines customer service, on-site sales, and hands-on junk removal. Representatives create positive customer experiences, discuss pricing, provide estimates, close sales, and safely remove unwanted items from homes and businesses. They also drive, navigate, and operate box trucks; training is provided. No prior junk removal experience is required. Daily recorded role-play scenarios are part of ongoing training, skill development, and performance improvement. The position pays $22–$28 per hour or more, described as $15 base pay plus profit sharing and tips. Overtime may be needed. The schedule is full-time, 4–5 shifts per week, with one mandatory weekend shift and 3–4 weekday shifts. Shifts run 8–12 hours and may fall between 6:30 AM and 10:00 PM, depending on business needs. Team members must be available four weekdays and one weekend day each week. Uniform requirements while at the office include a brown belt, brown steel-toe boots, navy blue work pants or shorts, and company-provided branded polo, ball cap or beanie, and sweatshirt. A valid DOT Medical Card is required to drive commercial vehicles; Southwind covers the full cost of obtaining DOT Medical Certification.
