Junior Social Media Manager

The Junior Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing several household brands primarily on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter, with potential opportunities to work on other social platforms. They will play a crucial role in developing and expanding the social media strategy in the UK, focusing on creating impactful and innovative content that aligns with popular culture. Working closely with the Ice Cream Brand Management and Creative teams, this role requires a deep understanding of food, gaming, music, and UK popular culture. The Junior Social Media Manager will also be responsible for growing the social media community, monitoring industry trends, and driving community-focused campaigns.

Develop and execute the UK social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and other platforms as required

Own the development and execution of the day-to-day content calendar including copywriting, scheduling, content production, and publishing

Grow the community across key social media channels, with a key focus on acquiring and connecting with a Gen-Z audience

Monitor social media networks for breaking news and viral content, including UGC

Monitor industry trends and stay on top of the latest social media technical innovations to keep our presence current and forward-thinking

Lead the creation of community-focused campaigns that drive acquisition, retention, engagement, and brand goals

Report on the performance of owned social channels to measure the effectiveness of our efforts, with an emphasis on continuous optimization and iteration

• Experience in managing social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter
• Strong storytelling and content creation skills
• Knowledge and interest in food, gaming, music, and popular culture in the UK
• Ability to develop and execute social media strategies
