About the position
The Junior Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing several household brands primarily on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter, with potential opportunities to work on other social platforms. They will play a crucial role in developing and expanding the social media strategy in the UK, focusing on creating impactful and innovative content that aligns with popular culture. Working closely with the Ice Cream Brand Management and Creative teams, this role requires a deep understanding of food, gaming, music, and UK popular culture. The Junior Social Media Manager will also be responsible for growing the social media community, monitoring industry trends, and driving community-focused campaigns.

Requirements
- Experience in managing social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter
- Strong storytelling and content creation skills
- Knowledge and interest in food, gaming, music, and popular culture in the UK
- Ability to develop and execute social media strategies
- Proficiency in copywriting, scheduling, content production, and publishing
- Familiarity with acquiring and connecting with a Gen-Z audience
- Monitoring social media networks for breaking news and viral content
- Keeping up with industry trends and social media technical innovations
- Experience in creating community-focused campaigns
- Analytical skills to analyze performance data and inform social strategy
- Collaboration with global teams and cross-posting relevant content
- Ability to analyze platform performance, growth, and opportunities
- Understanding of crisis management in social media
- Strong communication and reporting skills
