About The Position

1KOMMA5° is looking for a (Junior) SEO & AI Marketing Manager with analytical acumen and technological curiosity to elevate our visibility. This role views modern SEO not as static optimization, but as a dynamic ecosystem that you will actively scale through automated workflows and AI. In this position, you will be the interface between strategy, technology, and content. You will ensure website hygiene and manage our international teams with precise briefings.

Requirements

• At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in SEO (agency or in-house).
• Completed degree (Business Administration, Media Studies, Business Informatics, Marketing) or comparable qualification.
• Proficient use of common SEO tools (Search Console, Ahrefs, SISTRIX, Screaming Frog) and initial experience with automation using LLMs, n8n, Make, or Zapier.
• Strong analytical thinking, ability to independently identify complex relationships, and transform them into action items. A keen sense for user intent and content layouts.
• Follows the development of LLMs and AI Search.
• Proactive approach to projects, solution-oriented work, and ability to maintain an overview of multiple parallel tasks.
• Resilient towards strategic change (AI Movement).
• Fluent German and English.
• Comfortable communicating with international stakeholders and explaining complex SEO topics to laypeople.

Responsibilities

• GEO & AEO (Modern Search): Optimizing our content for Generative Engine Optimization and Answer Engine Optimization to achieve maximum presence in AI-powered search results (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.).
• Automation & AI Workflows: Independent conception and further development of automated SEO processes (e.g., automated briefing creation) using modern AI tools.
• Website Hygiene & Monitoring: Setting up and checking automated sanity checks and technical crawls (e.g., with Screaming Frog) and directly deriving operational measures.
• Keyword Research & Content Implementation: Conducting keyword and competitor research, as well as quality assurance (UX, structure, scannability for AI) during implementation on the website.
• International Management: Cross-location collaboration with global teams to translate strategic guidelines into operational briefings and efficiently utilize local market insights.
