About The Position
The Junior Recruiter supports the full recruitment lifecycle, with a focus on sourcing, screening, and engaging candidates for IT, Cybersecurity, and other technical positions. The role also supports talent-pipeline development, recruiting coordination, candidate records, career fairs, and relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen.
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing.
- Experience sourcing and screening IT, Cybersecurity, or technical candidates.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting platforms.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Foundational knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity recruiting concepts.
- Ability to evaluate resumes against technical job requirements.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruiting from requisition intake through onboarding.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, job boards, professional networks, and referrals.
- Recruit candidates for IT, Cybersecurity, and other technical positions.
- Review resumes and screen candidates based on job requirements.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders.
- Prepare candidate profiles and resumes for presentation.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in ATS systems.
- Support proposal and business-development recruiting efforts.
- Coordinate offer letters, onboarding, and new-hire orientation.
- Coordinate with security personnel regarding clearance requirements and candidate processing.
- Assist with employee referral programs.
- Participate in career fairs, networking events, and recruiting activities.
- Use social media and digital recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines.
- Develop professional relationships with candidates, hiring managers, universities, professional organizations, and recruiting partners.
