About The Position

MAXISIQ is seeking Junior IT Support Specialists to provide customer-focused support and help ensure the successful operation of its information technology systems. The role works with customers remotely and in person, guiding them through system configuration and troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently. This full-time opportunity is located in Quantico, Virginia.

Requirements

Have an active or current Top-Secret clearance and undergo a CI polygraph.
Have an associate's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Have 2 years of related experience.
Have a basic understanding of Windows, Mac, or Linux environments, networks, and hardware components.
Be able to diagnose and fix technical faults promptly, independently or by escalating complex issues.
Have strong customer service and communication skills to assist non-technical staff at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

Resolve end-user support tickets, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with computer setups.
Install, configure, and update workstations, peripherals, and operating systems.
Monitor local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, routers, and switches to maximize system uptime.
Enforce basic cybersecurity measures, run data backups, and follow disaster recovery procedures.
Track IT inventory, document system processes, and coordinate with external technology vendors.
