About The Position
Fleetway Inc. is seeking a qualified Jr. Electrical Engineering/Technology student for their Ottawa, ON office. This role is an opportunity to join Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy and the Halifax Class Design Agent contracts. Through these contracts, Fleetway’s engineers and technologists provide a full range of technical data management and engineering support services to the Royal Canadian Navy. The position involves producing complex designs to support new structures and systems, ensuring the Royal Canadian Navy is prepared for various operational needs. Fleetway is a trusted technical partner in the marine industry, providing services such as Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support, Technical Editing, Configuration Management, Project Management, Training, Technical Translation, and Marine Technical Services. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or Technology program.
- Must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
- Must meet requirements for Canadian Government Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of technical data management and engineering support services to the Royal Canadian Navy.
- Produce complex designs to support new structures and systems.
