We are actively searching for students excelling in a variety of technical disciplines, including: Electrical (Power), Electrical (Embedded Systems), Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear, Systems, Materials Science, Instrumentation & Controls, Civil/Structural, Software Engineering.

Requirements

  • Excellent academic record.
  • Highly motivated and proactive.
  • Strong desire to pursue a technical career path.
  • Robust analytical skills, including the ability and passion to problem solve.
  • Aptitude to work outside of a single engineering discipline and quickly learn new concepts.
  • Advanced computer skills preferred, including familiarity with programming languages such as C++ or Python, analysis programs such as Ansys or MATLAB-Simulink®, and design programs such as SolidWorks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on engineering teams as well as independently to produce high-quality technical deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Work and learn across multiple project disciplines.
  • Help formulate collaboration and deliver technically informed business insights to our clients.
  • Engage in thermal hydraulic, structural, and electrical analysis, in support of the industries that we serve.
  • Participate in Product Development (including mechanical and electrical design, software development, printed circuit board design, systems engineering and testing).
  • Contribute to Asset Management and Business Operations Improvement including data analytics, automation, machine learning, quality assurance, and process development.
  • Support Capital Project Management and Planning including support of project siting permitting and development, project planning, owner’s engineering, oversight of execution, and risk management.
  • Assist with Process Control Systems and Communications including, system architecture, design, software development, testing, and risk assessment.
  • Contribute to advanced nuclear technology design, analysis and deployment.
