Come join Findorff as a Project Engineer Co-op this Spring/Summer (January 2027 - August 2027) or Summer/Fall (May/June 2027 - December 2027). What You’ll Do As a Project Engineer Co-op at Findorff in Milwaukee, you’ll gain hands-on experience across all phases of construction from preconstruction through project closeout. This entry-level role is designed for students interested in the construction industry and offers exposure to Project Management, Field Operations, Preconstruction, and MEP teams. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals while building foundational technical, administrative, and leadership skills.

Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field, or relevant experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Comfortable using technology with strong computer skills
Interest in building a career in the construction industry

Responsibilities

Assist with RFIs, submittals, document control, and project communication to help keep projects organized and moving forward.
Participate in team meetings, take meeting minutes, assist with short-term planning, and help coordinate with field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Gain exposure to quantity takeoffs, bid package preparation, subcontractor outreach, and basic estimating activities.
Work with Superintendents to assist with material coordination, progress photos, safety walks, quality assurance, and punch list activities.
Utilize tools such as Bluebeam and Procore while supporting document updates, tracking submittals, and compiling project information.
Develop communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities while collaborating with project teams, clients, architects, and trade partners.
