About The Position

LabX Media Group is seeking a Junior Product Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of LabX.com, a B2B marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of laboratory equipment and products. The role is accountable for the marketplace’s operational health and for ensuring buyers, sellers, and internal teams are supported. It reports to the Senior Product Manager for LabX and works closely with the Product Development Manager and EVP of Product & Innovation, drawing on web development, marketing, and customer support to execute initiatives. The position begins with hands-on operational responsibilities and is designed to grow into broader strategic work. The successful candidate will build marketplace knowledge—including how sellers use the platform, where buyers encounter difficulties, and how metrics relate—and will receive mentorship from the Senior Product Manager and visibility into roadmap and strategy discussions. This position is remotely based and open to eligible candidates in Canada, with preference for candidates in the Eastern time zone. It is a current vacancy.

  • Build direct customer relationships and meet with customers to understand and articulate their needs.
  • Manage day-to-day marketplace operations, including maintaining and improving SOPs, documenting and standardizing processes, managing client expectations, and serving as an escalation and communication point between teams and stakeholders.

  • Work with stakeholders to define and track success criteria for business programs and activities.
