Under direction of the Program Supervisor, the Job Coach (i.e., Employment Training Specialist) is responsible for assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) establish and pursue their employment goals, including obtaining and maintaining successful employment. Employment Training Specialists provide job coaching, on-the-job and vocational training and assist in the improvement of communication and socialization skills through regular visits or direct supervision of people we support at their workplaces across assigned region(s), virtual and one-on-one meetings. Arranges, schedules and travels to workplace visits and coordinates required meetings with Care Managers and other professional supports and accurately documents services in a timely manner.
