About The Position

Opportunity Works Connecticut (OWC) is hiring Job Coaches to help adults with intellectual and physical disabilities build independence, develop life and job skills, and achieve personal goals in the workplace and community. Job Coaches provide support in community work settings and help individuals maintain successful employment. Full-time and part-time positions are available. The salary is $18.28–$18.95.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Connecticut driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and dependable.

Nice To Haves

• Experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide job coaching and support to individuals in community work settings.
• Teach job tasks, workplace expectations, and communication skills.
• Monitor progress and maintain required documentation.
• Communicate with employers and support teams.
• Promote independence and help individuals maintain successful employment.
