About The Position

Accenture Flex is hiring a Java Developer for fixed-duration, project-based work supporting a client in Chicago, Illinois. The role is 100% onsite. The developer will support existing software and develop new solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices, delivering scalable, high-performing software tailored to business needs. The role also involves acting as a subject matter expert, collaborating with multiple teams, contributing to key deliveries, solving problems for the immediate team and other teams, and taking ownership of software components to ensure quality and performance meet project standards. The position requires maintaining existing Java C applications. The successful candidate should be able to collaborate, learn, and teach others. Candidates must be capable of passing public trust clearance and a client security clearance, including a background check, credit review, fingerprinting, and drug test. Requirements

At least 5 years of Java Enterprise Backend Development experience.
Capable of passing public trust clearance.
Must pass client security clearance, including a background check, good credit standing, fingerprinting, and a drug test.
Must be a U.S. citizen or have been a Green Card permanent resident for the past 7 years.
High school diploma or GED.
Must have U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Advanced proficiency in Agile Team Practices.
Advanced proficiency in the JUnit Testing Framework and Spring Boot.
Intermediate proficiency in Apache Kafka and Microservices Architecture.
