About The Position

CACI is seeking an enthusiastic Java Software Developer to join a small, innovative team working on a large, long-term program that addresses real-world challenges. The role designs, develops, operates, and maintains software and computing-system components that may be integrated into multidisciplinary solutions and products. It applies software standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system life cycle and interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users, and technical and support personnel. The developer will collaborate closely with users and teammates to create mission-critical applications, contribute to new development from requirements analysis and design through testing, integration, and deployment, and deliver technical solutions consistent with designs and interface definitions. The team emphasizes user mission success, respectful collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and established development and configuration-management practices.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Security+ certification.
Experience with object-oriented and functional programming approaches.
Experience with Java, JMS, Angular, Hibernate, Camel, and Spring.
Experience with REST and web services.
Experience in service-based development.
Experience with messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ, Kafka, or similar products.
Experience with software testing, such as JUnit and automated test tools.
Experience with Linux shell scripting and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Self-motivated, with technical understanding, good communication skills, and the ability and willingness to collaborate.

Responsibilities

Collaboratively create mission-critical software applications with users to ensure the products support their missions effectively.
Provide software design and development expertise for new application development.
Participate in requirements analysis and design for new development.
During development, provide technical solutions compliant with the design and interface definitions.
Support software testing, integration, and deployment.
