About The Position

The Java Developer will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role builds and enhances microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Pub/Sub, and develops data-intensive solutions using PostgreSQL and BigQuery. The developer will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and containerize and deploy applications using Docker.

The position involves close collaboration with business, product, and engineering stakeholders on financial services programs, as well as support for cloud modernization and platform transformation initiatives. The assignment is onsite in Avenel, New Jersey, for 11 months.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on development expertise in the listed technologies and domains.
• Hands-on development experience with Java 8, 11, or 17.
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with Docker and GitHub Actions (CI/CD).
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Azure SQL and BigQuery.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience designing and developing scalable, cloud-native applications.
• Strong hands-on understanding of API design, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
• Financial Services experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on coding and development experience is required.
