About The Position

Accenture Flex is a fixed-duration, project-based role for a Java Developer supporting current software and developing new solutions for a client. The developer will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing software tailored to business needs. The role requires subject-matter expertise, collaboration across teams, contribution to key deliveries, and ownership of software components to ensure quality and performance meet project standards. The position requires 100% onsite client work in Chicago, Illinois, with work performed in the employee’s local metro area to reduce or eliminate travel. Candidates must pass client security clearance, including background checks, fingerprinting, and a drug test.

Requirements

At least 5 years of Java Enterprise Backend Development experience.
Ability to pass public trust clearance.
Must pass client security clearance, including a background check, fingerprinting, and drug test, and have good credit standing.
Must be a U.S. citizen or have been a Green Card Permanent Resident for the past 7 years.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Advanced proficiency in Agile Team Practices.
Advanced proficiency in the JUnit Testing Framework and Spring Boot.
Intermediate proficiency in Apache Kafka and Microservices Architecture.
