About The Position

Accenture Flex is hiring a Java Developer for fixed-duration, project-based work. The role supports existing software and develops new solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing software tailored to business needs. The developer will act as a subject matter expert, collaborate across teams, contribute to key deliveries, solve problems for immediate and partner teams, and take ownership of software components to ensure they meet project quality and performance standards. The work requires maintaining existing Java C applications and both learning from and teaching colleagues. The role requires 100% onsite work at a client location in Houston, Texas, and successful completion of a client security clearance.

Requirements

At least 5 years of Java Enterprise Backend Development experience.
Ability to pass a public trust clearance.
Must pass a client security clearance, including a background check, good credit standing, fingerprinting, and a drug test.
Must be a U.S. citizen or have been a Green Card Permanent Resident for the past 7 years.
High school diploma or GED.
Applicants must have U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Advanced proficiency in Agile Team Practices.
Advanced proficiency in the JUnit Testing Framework and Spring Boot.
Intermediate proficiency in Apache Kafka and Microservices Architecture.
