About The Position

The Janitorial Tech is responsible for conducting janitorial duties throughout the facility and grounds. The role includes cleaning and sanitation, restocking supplies, handling laundry, assisting manufacturing departments with general cleaning as needed, and recording cleaning, restocking, and supply activity in internal logs. The job description is not all-inclusive; the employee may be asked to follow other instructions and perform additional duties assigned by a supervisor.

The position requires flexibility when priorities change and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. The employee must be able to complete BRC Janitor training and work overtime when BRC deems it necessary. Previous or similar work experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to perform necessary duties.
• Must be able to complete BRC Janitor training.
• Must demonstrate flexibility when reprioritization is necessary.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must be able to work overtime when BRC deems it necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, stretch, step, and occasionally climb during the shift.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous or similar work experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and restock restrooms, including toiletries.
• Sanitize breakrooms, including floors, tables, countertops, and appliances; restock utensils, soap, sanitizers, and paper towels.
• Remove trash from general pickup areas throughout the facility and grounds.
• Break down recyclable materials into smaller profiles for storage in the recycle trailer or location.
• Dust and vacuum general office areas and common manufacturing areas.
• Dust and clean frames, vents, and light covers in general manufacturing areas.
• Wash and dry company-kept attire and garments.
• Clean and restock hand-wash stations and drinking fountains.
• Restock general PPE and cleaning supplies in manufacturing common areas or satellite locations.
• Assist manufacturing departments with general cleaning when necessary.
• Record cleaning, restocking, and supply entries in internal logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
