About The Position

The 2nd Shift Janitorial Supervisor (Bilingual) is responsible for quality control of general business operations, increasing client satisfaction, and working productively with Independent Contractors (IC). The role requires working independently and collaboratively in facilities such as industrial, manufacturing, office, medical, and retail locations. The supervisor uses good judgment when reporting client concerns to management and engaging others to meet client needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience in the commercial janitorial services industry.
• Three years of prior management experience coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team across multiple units or locations.
• Strong planning and organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to innovate and pursue continuous process improvement.
• MS Office and Internet skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others in various facility types.
• Bilingual; the specific languages are not stated.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with Independent Contractors and in-house labor by communicating client priorities and collaborating on problem-solving.
• Review scopes of work and ensure quality assurance for each account to retain existing business and gain new business.
• Communicate daily with the Facility Solutions Manager about issues needing immediate attention, including sending a nightly recap by email or phone message.
• Recommend Independent Contractor work assignments, manage work to client standards and company guidelines, and discharge contractors who do not meet service-level agreements.
• Manage inspections, customer complaints and requests, new client starts, and VIP service needs.
• Execute City Wide’s New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy, Four Star Policy, and other operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with client policies and procedures and the approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper use.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
