About The Position

The Janitorial Team Member is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing office spaces, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public areas at Wintrust Sports Complex. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, and willing to take on routine and special cleaning projects as needed. The role also provides courteous, friendly service to guests and answers questions or gives directions as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts.
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
• Ability to take direction.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 pounds as necessary.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule that includes a combination of days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

• Housekeeping or janitorial experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general clean-up of all building areas as directed.
• Monitor the facility for spills and clean them as needed.
• Clean all floor surfaces and glass in the facility.
• Clean and maintain bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and supply restocking.
• Clean guest seating and the lobby area.
• Remove facility trash and recycling.
• Complete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as directed by management.
• Provide courteous and friendly service to guests, answering questions and providing directions as needed.
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
• Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pickup.
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
