About The Position
The Birthday Party Team Member provides excellent guest service and works with customers to create a great birthday party experience. The role collaborates with guest services, food and beverage departments, and management at Highlands Sports Complex in Triadelphia, West Virginia. The position is part-time and non-exempt.
Requirements
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours.

- Proficiency using computers and associated hardware.

- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and squat, stoop, or bend.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to operate a computer, POS system, and kiosk.

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome participants, parents, and community members.
- Ensure participants and visitors are present for the permitted event.
- Direct or assist with decorating the party space.
- Organize and facilitate games and activities.
- Ensure purchased packages and items are received.
- Operate arcade, e-sports, and other venue-specific devices.
- Oversee use of entertainment equipment.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Provide courteous, friendly, first-in-class service to guests.
- Know the facility’s practices, events, and meeting dates and times.
- Know and enforce venue policies and procedures.
- Complete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as assigned.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.
