About The Position

Highlands Sports Complex is seeking an energetic, highly motivated, detail-oriented, and flexible Custodian to perform routine cleaning and special projects as needed. The position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing office spaces, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public areas, as well as maintaining the facility and its exterior areas. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of janitorial experience.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts and long hours.
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
• Capacity to take direction.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Availability for a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend.
• Ability to push, pull, or lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods.
• Ability to climb elevated areas, such as ladders or lifts for scoreboards, to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed.
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space, and parking lot.
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
• Remove garbage and recycling daily.
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
• Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped.
