About The Position

The Janitorial Team Member routinely cleans and sanitizes the interior and exterior of Ontario Sports Empire, maintaining the facility’s presentation and safety. Duties include deep and surface cleaning, trash control, inventory support, and operating floor cleaners and other cleaning equipment. The position is part-time and non-exempt, and reports to the Operations Manager. The facility is located in Ontario, California.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multitask.
• Knowledge of safety rules and hazards, and ability to apply accident-prevention measures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods, indoors or outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of janitorial equipment to maintain the cleanliness of the property.
• Execute and complete scheduled cleaning in various areas of the facility.
• Maintain a professional, cooperative working relationship with management and co-workers.
• Perform work in accordance with applicable standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines, including OSHA standards, to promote a safe working environment.
• Recognize, react to, resolve, and report safety issues or concerns.
• Maintain appropriate inventory systems, records, files, material safety data sheets, cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
