About The Position

The 2nd Shift Janitorial Supervisor (Bilingual) is responsible for quality control of general business operations, increasing client satisfaction, and working productively with Independent Contractors (IC). The role requires working independently and with others in a variety of facilities, including industrial, manufacturing, office, medical, and retail settings. The supervisor exercises good judgment in reporting client concerns to management and involving others as needed to meet client needs. This position is part of a defined sales career path at City Wide Facility Solutions. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience in the commercial janitorial services industry.
Three years of prior management experience coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team across multiple units or locations.
Strong planning and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Innovative approach and commitment to continuous process improvement.
Microsoft Office and internet skills.
Ability to work independently and with others in a variety of facility types.
Bilingual ability, as indicated by the job title.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain productive working relationships with Independent Contractors and in-house labor by communicating client priorities and collaborating on problem-solving.
Review scopes of work and ensure account-level quality assurance to retain existing business and gain new business.
Communicate daily with the Facility Solutions Manager about issues requiring immediate attention, including sending a nightly recap by email or phone message.
Recommend Independent Contractor work assignments, manage performance to client standards and company guidelines, and discharge contractors who do not meet service-level agreements.
Manage inspections, customer complaints and requests, new client starts, and VIP service needs.
Execute City Wide’s New-Start Policy, Customer Complaint Policy, Four Star Policy, and other operational policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with client policies and procedures, including the use of approved cleaning tools and equipment.
Perform other duties as necessary.
