About The Position

ABM is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Janitorial Supervisor to oversee cleaning staff and ensure cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high cleanliness standards. The role requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The pay rate is $18 per hour; specific offers may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market alignment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a janitorial supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff to maintain areas according to company standards.
• Schedule and assign cleaning tasks, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
• Train and onboard new janitorial staff, providing guidance and support.
• Inspect facilities regularly to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Address and resolve issues or complaints related to cleaning services.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff schedules, and maintenance issues.
• Communicate with staff, management, and clients regarding satisfaction with cleaning services.
• Assist with cleaning tasks as needed, particularly during high-demand situations.
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
