About The Position

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitorial Supervisor to coordinate and assist employees in cleaning and maintaining commercial, industrial, and medical premises. This is a working supervisor role that includes performing the duties of supervised workers and directly supervising the performance outcomes of 2 to 50 janitorial service employees. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 3 p.m. to midnight, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and weekly pay.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of three years of verifiable work history.
At least two years of supervisory experience in the janitorial industry.
Attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions effectively.
Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Nice To Haves

Prior cleaning or janitorial experience.
Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards.
Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing.
Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for conformance to standards.
Issue supplies and equipment.
Resolve workers’ problems or refer matters to the Manager.
Perform the duties of supervised workers.
Directly supervise the performance outcomes of 2 to 50 janitorial service employees.
Assist in training employees.
Plan, assign, and direct work.
Provide feedback to managers to support effective appraisal of employee performance.
Address customer complaints and resolve problems.
Collaborate with employees and perform related duties as a working supervisor.
