About The Position

Allied Universal® Janitorial Services is hiring a Janitorial Supervisor for North Riverside Mall. The supervisor directs and delegates janitorial staff workloads, oversees work quality, and liaises with customer representatives to ensure service meets agreed specifications. This is a full-time position paying $20.00 per hour, with a schedule of 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The role includes paid on-the-job training and weekly pay.

Requirements

• Meet at least one of the following experience requirements: two years of janitorial work experience, preferably in a leadership role; or six months of janitorial work experience with Allied Universal Janitorial Services or another Allied Universal business.

Nice To Haves

• Prior supervisory experience in the janitorial or housekeeping industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Delegate workloads among janitorial staff.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure work meets the customer contract.
• Respond to calls from security or mall management for emergency cleaning.
• Ensure janitor closets are clean and stocked.
• Oversee table, chair, stage, and retail merchandising unit setups as required.
• Inform the maintenance department and supervisor about maintenance deficiencies.
• Conduct safety training and coach and mentor janitorial team members.
• Perform payroll duties as needed.
• Make productivity recommendations to leadership staff.
• Participate in selecting and placing janitorial team members.
• Provide team feedback and guidance for improvement.
• Perform janitorial duties on occasion to supplement staff.
