About The Position

Southeast Airport Services, Inc. (SAS, Inc.) is seeking a full-time Janitorial Operations Manager for the MCO Orlando International Airport (Airside 4). This on-site role requires extensive experience in Janitorial Operations Management (5-7 years). The Janitorial Operations Manager will ensure the Janitorial Department operates efficiently, which includes hands-on work with employees in cleaning facilities, managing operations-related responsibilities, designating work assignments, handling work-scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with analytical thinking, coachable, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment, possessing strong leadership skills and the ability to handle employee issues professionally and in a timely manner, following correct disciplinary procedures.

Requirements

Extensive experience in Janitorial Operations Management (5-7 years).
Strong leadership skills.
Knowledge of work-scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll.
Ability to handle employee issues professionally and in a timely manner, following the correct disciplinary procedure.
Problem-solving skills with analytical thinking.
Coachable.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety of the public, employees, facilities, and equipment while managing the operation.
Ensure the team has complete attendance and report any tardiness or absences to HR immediately.
Perform daily timekeeping verifications and approvals at the end of the pay period.
Manage Paid-Time-Off schedules and approvals.
Prepare employee work schedules.
Complete and submit daily reports before the end of the day.
Provide excellent customer service experience to both the public and the client.
Communicate effectively with employees and upper management.
Conduct inventory of supplies.
Perform ad hoc tasks as needed.
