Janitorial Facility Manager
About The Position
The Janitorial Facility Manager oversees cleaning operations at a facility in Norfolk, Virginia. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with times subject to adjustment, and includes on-call availability. The role pays $19.00 per hour with weekly pay. The manager works alongside the cleaning crew, coordinates labor needs, ensures services meet established standards and timelines, and supports quality control, inventory management, reporting, and employee onboarding. Candidates should be able to work effectively with the team, be physically capable of standing throughout the shift, and have a passion for doing the job well.

Responsibilities
- Manage labor needs.
- Manage the cleaning crew and work alongside the team.
- Ensure all services are performed to established standards and in a timely manner.
- Conduct quality control of services using customized scorecards.
- Accurately track and order client consumables inventory.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with team members, upper management, and customers.
- Resolve conflicts effectively.
- Track and report weekly progress using reports customized for specific sites.
- Assist with employee recruiting and onboarding.
- Perform additional duties as needed to complete the job well and on time.
