Janitorial Facility Manager
About The Position
The Facility Manager oversees janitorial services at a site in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with on-call responsibilities. The manager works alongside the cleaning team, manages labor and crew needs, and ensures services meet established standards and are completed on time. Duties also include quality control, inventory tracking and ordering, reporting, and assistance with employee recruiting and onboarding. The role requires working on one's feet for the entire shift and being physically capable of completing the job.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Manage labor needs and the cleaning crew.
- Work alongside the cleaning team.
- Ensure services are performed to established standards and in a timely manner.
- Conduct quality control of services using customized scorecards.
- Track and order client consumables inventory accurately.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with team members, upper management, and customers.
- Resolve conflicts effectively.
- Track and report weekly progress using reports customized for specific sites.
- Assist with employee recruiting and onboarding.
- Perform additional duties as needed to complete the job well and on time.
