About The Position

The Janitorial / Facility Maintenance Technician maintains the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of Winonics’ PCB manufacturing facility in Brea, California. The position primarily performs daily janitorial and housekeeping duties throughout the facility, while also supporting general building maintenance and minor repairs. The role requires dependable, detail-oriented work and the ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.

The technician cleans interior and exterior areas, maintains janitorial equipment and supplies, and follows cleaning and safety procedures around manufacturing equipment, chemical processing areas, and sensitive materials. The position also performs minor repairs, conducts facility inspections, reports hazards and maintenance needs, and assists maintenance personnel and contractors with facility work. Employees must meet ITAR eligibility requirements. Employment offers are contingent on successfully completing a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of janitorial, custodial, or general facility maintenance experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience performing basic building repairs and general facility upkeep.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and janitorial equipment.
• Basic understanding of plumbing, painting, drywall repairs, and fixture maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment, hand tools, and basic power tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage daily cleaning schedules, and prioritize assignments.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 pounds, with assistance or mechanical aids when necessary.
• Meet ITAR eligibility requirements.
• Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening is required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Clean manufacturing floors, production areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas daily.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and sanitize floors and surfaces with appropriate equipment and products.
• Empty trash and recycling, dispose of non-hazardous waste, and replenish restroom and janitorial supplies.
• Maintain building entrances, walkways, parking areas, and exterior grounds.
• Perform scheduled deep cleaning and maintain janitorial equipment, supplies, and storage areas.
• Follow established cleaning and safety procedures around manufacturing equipment, chemical processing areas, and sensitive materials.
• Support housekeeping initiatives to keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform minor building maintenance and repairs, including painting, drywall patching, basic plumbing, and fixture replacements.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or needed repairs.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and general upkeep of building systems and equipment.
• Support maintenance personnel and outside contractors with facility repairs and improvement projects as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures, including proper PPE use and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Perform other janitorial and facility maintenance duties as assigned.
