Janitor (Full Time)
About The Position
ESFM is hiring a full-time Janitor at 24105 West Southern Avenue, Buckeye, Arizona 85326. The role keeps buildings clean and orderly and includes heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. The position works to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, following approved procedures and applicable federal, state, and county guidelines. Available full-time schedules are Wednesday through Saturday, 7 AM–6 PM, or Sunday through Wednesday, 7 AM–6 PM. The fixed pay rate is $19.96 per hour. Previous janitorial experience is preferred. Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures and infection control plans.
- Dust and damp mop floors according to approved procedures.
- Move equipment and furniture to clean properly and return furniture to its correct placement.
- Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
- Sanitize all surfaces and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
- Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Identify areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
- Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
- Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
- Contribute to the team and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
