About The Position

Under the direction of IT staff and Lead Student Worker, the Student Worker provides customer service and carding Service to CSUF Students, Faculty, Staff, and Library guests. This role involves assisting users with printing various cards such as TitanCards and Badges, processing fees, ensuring card printings are clean and working properly, and assisting with inventory of carding and IT shirts. The position also includes supporting Digital Print Services (DPS) and Center for Equitable Digital Access (CEDA) tasks.

Requirements

• Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
• Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
• In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
• Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
• Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and over-the-phone customer service and support for card distributions.
• Assist users by printing cards such as TitanCards, Badges and more.
• Assist with processing fees charges.
• Support staff with ensuring card printings are clean and working properly.
• Assist with processing inventory of carding and IT shirts.
• Other duties may be assigned, as deemed necessary.
• Assist with Digital Print Services (DPS) tasks
• Assist with Center for Equitable Digital Access (CEDA) tasks
