Provide application or infrastructure technical expertise, analysis, and specifications for IT systems that meet business requirements and comply with IT architecture policies and standards. Translate requirements into technical specifications and detailed solution designs, and coordinate the construction, installation, configuration, and testing of IT systems. The role includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues; managing the lifecycle of technical specifications; evaluating commercial off-the-shelf products against custom-built solutions; and delivering solutions that follow standards and reuse components. Create high-level and detailed designs for infrastructure or applications, interfaces, conversions, extensions, reports, and workflows while meeting architecture, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements. Work with technical and infrastructure groups and IT service providers to ensure designs are understood and outsourced work meets specifications and quality, schedule, cost, security, performance, and scalability parameters. Participate in design and code reviews, promote component reuse, improve build and deployment efficiency through automation, and assist with test strategy and execution. Contribute to standards, processes, procedures, guidelines, and end-user support runbooks; analyze existing systems and documentation for improvements; provide level 3 support for critical non-routine issues; coach less experienced team members; and establish integration patterns and best practices for scalable, secure, reusable APIs. The job site is Nashville, Tennessee. Work hours are 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
