About The Position

Phileo Shared Services is seeking an IT Systems & Operations Specialist to serve as a key Technology Manager for our partner Christian schools. This is a dynamic mid-level role designed for a technical professional ready to transition from general support into advanced systems administration. Operating at the heart of our Shared Services team, you will manage the essential "backbone" of school technology—from device deployment and network health to security protocols. While you will have significant autonomy over your assigned schools, you will also benefit from direct mentorship and professional development under the guidance of our Senior IT Specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Systems Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in technical support or systems administration.
• Strong technical experience supporting hardware, software, and IP network equipment in a multi-user environment.
• Understanding of modern security principles (encryption, permissions, and endpoint protection).
• Ability to manage vendors and coordinate with school staff to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Strong personal relationship skills with a "service-first" mentality toward faculty and students.
• A desire to learn and grow through mentorship, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced school environment.

Nice To Haves

• Blackbaud Suite Support Experience
• Experience with Subscription Management is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of student and faculty hardware to ensure devices are configured, updated, and secure.
• Maintain and troubleshoot campus IP networks and implement security best practices.
• Oversee the management of software subscriptions and licenses, ensuring faculty and students have uninterrupted access to essential educational tools.
• Work alongside Senior IT Specialists on infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and security audits, gaining exposure to high-level architectural planning.
