IT & Systems Manager

BuyWander•West Valley City, UT

About The Position

BuyWander is hiring its first IT & Systems Manager to build and own the internal IT function as the company expands across multiple sites and grows toward 1,000+ employees. This hands-on, initially solo role will establish the systems, standards, documentation, and vendor relationships needed to support the company, with the opportunity to build and lead an IT team as it grows. The role will also own internal systems and business applications supporting HR, recruiting, and document management, evaluating and integrating vendors and partnering with Engineering when custom development is genuinely needed. Responsibilities include administering Paylocity and other HR/business systems technically; HR retains ownership of payroll, benefits, and HR processes. The position reports to the Chief IT Officer. It is primarily desk-based and analytical, with periodic time on the store floor and occasional travel to BuyWander markets. The role requires working at a fast pace in a goal-driven environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
