IT System Analyst II

The IT Systems Analyst II role at Piaggio Fast Forward Inc. (PFF) involves analyzing, designing, and troubleshooting information technology systems and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. The role requires evaluating and designing new IT systems or enhancing existing systems to integrate with current and future needs. The analyst will also be responsible for testing and evaluating the compatibility and integration of new systems with existing infrastructure, networks, and applications. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues, acting as a point of contact for IT support escalations, and participating in the operation and maintenance of IT applications, systems, services, and infrastructure.

Analyze, design, and troubleshoot information technology systems and processes

Enhance efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness of IT systems

Evaluate and design new IT systems or enhance existing systems

Test and evaluate compatibility and integrations of new systems with existing infrastructure, networks, and applications

Deliver logical, secure, and maintainable solutions using appropriate technologies

Understand operational requirements and dependencies of IT systems

Troubleshoot and resolve IT support escalations from Tier 1 support

Identify and take ownership of operational risks at the component level

Participate in the operation and maintenance of IT applications, systems, services, and infrastructure

Align work with business objectives and deliver business value

Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure environment

Configure and install various network devices and services

Perform network maintenance and system upgrades

Troubleshoot issues, monitor system performance, and identify risks within the infrastructure

Implement security best practices

Manage backup and recovery procedures

Implement disaster recovery strategy to support business continuity

Continually test backup and recovery procedures

• Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure environment (AWS, OSX, Windows, Linux/Ubuntu, iOS, Android, SQL Server, MongoDB, RDS)
• Configure and install network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades
• Troubleshoot issues and monitor system performance
• Implement security best practices (SIEM, OKTA)
• Manage backup and recovery procedures (Backupify) and implement disaster recovery strategy
• Experience with enterprise SaaS applications (HubSpot, Shopify, NetSuite, Looker, Jira, Confluence, Asana)
• Develop and maintain documentation of policies, procedures, and software systems
• Manage support escalations and adhere to service level agreements
• Conduct new hire orientation and manage onboarding tasks
• Apply automation to tools and functions using APIs and scripting
• Research and maintain a device management solution
