IT System Analyst II

The IT Systems Analyst II role at Piaggio Fast Forward Inc. involves analyzing, designing, and troubleshooting information technology systems and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. The analyst will be responsible for evaluating and designing new IT systems or enhancing existing systems to meet current and future needs. They will also test and evaluate the compatibility and integration of new systems with existing infrastructure, networks, and applications. Additionally, the analyst will act as a point of contact for IT support escalations and will be involved in the operation and maintenance of IT applications, systems, services, and infrastructure.

• Install, configure, and maintain the infrastructure environment, including physical/virtual server, network, and storage components
• Configure and install various network devices and services
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades
• Troubleshoot issues, monitor system performance, and identify current or future risks within the PFF infrastructure
• Implement security best practices utilizing the latest software and utilities
• Manage backup and recovery procedures and implement disaster recovery strategy
• Experience implementing, integrating, and administering enterprise SaaS applications
• Develop, implement, and maintain documentation of relevant policies, procedures, and software systems
• Manage support escalations in a timely manner
• Identify when the need for a communication is warranted
• Conduct on-site new hire orientation and manage all onboarding tasks for new hires
• Ability to apply automation to various tools and functions where applicable using APIs and scripting
• Research, implement and maintain a device management solution that meets the requirements provided.

• Configure and install network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades

• Implement security best practices (SIEM, OKTA)
• Manage backup and recovery procedures (Backupify) and implement disaster recovery strategy
• Experience with enterprise SaaS applications (HubSpot, Shopify, NetSuite, Looker, Jira, Confluence, Asana)
• Develop and maintain documentation of policies, procedures, and software systems
• Manage support escalations and adhere to service level agreements
• Conduct new hire orientation and manage onboarding tasks
• Apply automation to tools and functions using APIs and scripting
• Research and maintain a device management solution
