About The Position

Tectro IT is seeking a motivated, tech-savvy apprentice to support its IT and cybersecurity services for small and mid-sized business clients. The role offers hands-on experience in IT support and cybersecurity, working alongside experienced professionals and contributing to client service delivery. The position is described as a full-time apprenticeship focused on learning. During the first year, the apprentice is guaranteed formal training, a mentor, and a pay raise.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve low-level IT support requests from clients.
• Assist with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate records of support activities and resolutions.
• Assist in preparing reports on support trends and issues.
• Assist with routine system updates, patches, and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to support the stability and security of client environments.
• Participate in basic cybersecurity tasks, including user access.
• Contribute to efforts to improve clients' overall cybersecurity posture.
• Engage in learning opportunities, seek guidance from senior team members, and participate in training sessions.
