About The Position

Quest Diagnostics is hiring motivated students for its Technology Summer Internship Program. The program introduces students to the company through a challenging and rewarding experience, allowing them to contribute to business goals and serving as a potential pathway to future employment. Interns contribute to their assigned teams, complete an assigned project, and present their accomplishments to senior management at the end of the program. The internship is open to students who have completed their second or third year of college or are currently enrolled in a master’s program. Areas of focus may include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Architecture, Data Analytics, Digital Product Management, Engineering, IT Security, and Strategy & Portfolio Management. The preferred locations are Quest Diagnostics headquarters in Secaucus, New Jersey, or Schaumburg, Illinois, on a hybrid basis, with three days in the office per week. Candidates at other Quest locations may be considered based on business needs.

Requirements

Have completed the second or third year of college, with a major in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or another analytical or technical area.
Have information technology course experience and a fundamental understanding of technologies.
Have a fundamental understanding of technologies such as cloud, artificial intelligence, and networking.
Be collaborative and motivated, with strong organizational skills.
Have solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Be able to work independently.
Be comfortable making verbal and written presentations to senior management.
