About The Position

The IT Intern learns about information technology and technical support best practices within a nonprofit ministry while supporting Information Technology through a variety of innovative solutions, processes, tasks, and projects. The intern actively participates in Seed Company’s Internship program, including learning and mentorship opportunities.

The position is full-time for a maximum nine-week period, from the second week of June through the first week of August. The work takes place in a professional office environment on a highly collaborative, synergistic, fast-paced team. No travel is required.

Requirements

• Be a student at a university, technical college, or institute who has completed sophomore, junior, or senior year.
• Be able to work full-time for a maximum nine-week period, from the second week of June through the first week of August.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA and pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, CIS, or Computer Engineering.
• Working proficiency with Windows, Mac OS, and iOS products.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and logical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to helpdesk requests from local and remote staff, including Mac and PC users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
• Provide end-user audiovisual support during critical meetings and webinars as needed.
• Provision laptops and equipment for Seed Company employees.
• Assist with organizing IT inventory and asset management.
• Respond quickly and effectively to business needs.
• Participate in interdepartmental meetings.
• Participate in the Internship program, including learning and mentorship opportunities.
• Perform or assist with assignments as required or directed.
