About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for a hybrid position with a global financial institution. The role is based in Charlotte, NC; Plano, TX; or Pennington, NJ, with three days onsite per week, and is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The position leads end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional technology programs supporting sensitive data workflows and onboarding processes. It provides program governance, manages planning and delivery, and aligns engineering, product, compliance, information security, operations, and vendor teams to deliver secure, resilient, audit-ready solutions. The role manages program planning and delivery governance, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, risk management, release readiness, and executive status reporting. Candidates must have substantial experience leading technology initiatives and be able to work effectively across multiple workstreams in a hybrid environment. The hourly pay range is $52.54–$60.54. Genesis10 states that candidates must be available to work directly as Genesis10 employees.

Requirements

8+ years of program and project management experience delivering large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives.
Proven ability to lead end-to-end program execution, including planning, requirements management, delivery governance, and implementation.
Experience with Agile, Hybrid, and traditional delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), release management, and technology delivery processes.
Technical fluency with APIs, system integrations, application architectures, and enterprise technology platforms.
Ability to identify, assess, mitigate, and communicate program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
Strong executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing third-party vendors, delivery commitments, and contractual deliverables.
Advanced experience using Jira and related Agile delivery tools.
Proficiency with program management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while managing multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience leading regulated-data initiatives requiring audit-ready processes and governance controls.
Knowledge of financial controls, privacy requirements, records management, and management of sensitive data.
Familiarity with information security concepts, including access controls, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
Experience within Capital Markets, Financial Services, Banking, or other highly regulated industries.
Knowledge of enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Experience delivering large-scale platform modernization, integration, or transformation initiatives.
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes across organizations without direct authority.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end execution of complex technology programs from requirements definition through implementation and post-production support.
Develop and maintain integrated program plans, managing dependencies and critical paths.
Manage program planning, delivery governance, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, risk management, and release readiness.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and alignment across engineering, product, compliance, legal, risk, information security, and operations teams.
Oversee change management, requirements governance, testing readiness, release planning, and post-implementation reviews.
Provide executive-level status reporting, including progress tracking, risk reporting, and delivery health indicators.
