About The Position

We are hiring an IT PC Technician under contract for the IT location at the EchoWater Facility (SacSewer) in Elk Grove. Depending on business needs, the work location may alternate between SacSewer at Goethe Road and the EchoWater Facility in Elk Grove. The selected candidate will join the IT Customer Services Team (ITCS), which supports employees at both locations. The role assists with Help Desk services, hardware and software installations, customer support, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems, and other technical special projects as assigned. The contract is for one year and may be extended depending on performance and business needs. Candidates must submit a current resume and any certifications pertinent to the position.

Requirements

• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with technical and non-technical users.
• Demonstrated ability to perform hardware and software installations.
• Successful development of PC images.
• Experience in Windows Administration and Support.
• Experience conducting Help Desk phone support.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems in an Active Directory enterprise network environment.
• Submit a current resume and any certifications pertinent to the position.

Nice To Haves

• VoIP and smartphone support experience.
• Remote PC support experience.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
• Asset and inventory tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Help Desk services, including phone support.
• Perform hardware and software installations.
• Interact with customers and diagnose and troubleshoot their technical problems remotely and in person.
• Support employees at the SacSewer Goethe Road and EchoWater Facility locations.
• Develop PC images.
• Work on other technical special projects as assigned.
