About The Position

Taurus Industrial Group is a technical services contractor in the energy and industrial sector, with operations across the Gulf Coast, Midwest, Canada, and Mexico. The PC Technician will be based in the company’s Port Lavaca, Texas office and assigned onsite at a client location in Point Comfort, Texas. The role installs, maintains, and repairs computer, printer, telephone, and audiovisual equipment and cabling, and installs and maintains software. The technician follows departmental standards and safety procedures, communicates professionally, accommodates clients within departmental parameters, and provides courteous customer service. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
One to twenty-four months of experience as a PC technician.
Troubleshooting or problem-solving skills.
Proper use of hand tools.
Organization and effective time-management skills.
Effective customer-service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to carry and maneuver tools, materials, equipment, and/or a ladder.
Strong business acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
