About The Position

Taurus Industrial Group is seeking a PC Technician for its Port Lavaca, Texas office. The technician will be assigned onsite at a client location in Point Comfort, Texas. The role installs, maintains, and repairs PC and printer hardware and peripherals, analog, digital, and VoIP systems, structured cabling, AV equipment and cabling, and software. The technician is expected to follow departmental standards and safety procedures, communicate professionally, support clients within departmental parameters, and provide courteous customer service. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One to twenty-four months of experience as a PC technician.
• Troubleshooting or problem-solving skills.
• Proper use of hand tools.
• Organized and effective time management.
• Effective customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to carry and maneuver tools, materials, equipment, and/or a ladder.
• Strong business acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair PC hardware and peripherals.
• Install, maintain, and repair printer hardware and peripherals.
• Install, maintain, and repair analog, digital, and VoIP systems.
• Install and maintain structured cabling.
• Install, maintain, and repair AV equipment.
• Install and maintain AV cabling.
• Install and maintain software.
• Operate within departmental standards and protocols.
• Communicate professionally with other departments.
• Accommodate clients within departmental parameters.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Provide courteous customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
