About The Position

Scope of Position
This analytical and detail-oriented individual, as part of the IT team, will support network administration, troubleshooting, and infrastructure initiatives. The IT Networking Intern will gain hands-on experience configuring and maintaining network hardware and software, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and monitoring network performance while developing an understanding of enterprise networking systems. This position provides practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to cross-functional collaboration while supporting projects and daily operations that contribute to reliable IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• Current student (sophomore or junior status).
• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Passionate about your work, with a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully and make an impact.
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments.
• Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with routers, switches, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring and maintaining network hardware and software.
• Support troubleshooting of network connectivity issues.
• Monitor network performance and report anomalies.
• Document network configurations and processes.
• Collaborate with the IT team on projects and daily operations.
• Demonstrate accountability by maintaining accurate documentation and following through on assigned network support tasks.
• Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager, Workplace Collaboration & End User Enablement or Company management.
