About The Position

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the IT department, including network and data security, systems, servers, hardware, software, training, budget, and employee evaluations. This role involves making recommendations for operational efficiency, mentoring IT personnel, coordinating daily activities, and enforcing compliance with policies. The manager will also determine necessary purchases, plan and oversee new system development, and maintain IT procedure documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a computer technology-related field PLUS 4 years of experience in administering a Windows Server & Network environment PLUS a minimum of one-year supervisory experience; OR a degree in a computer technology-related field PLUS a minimum of 10 years of experience in administering a Windows Server & Network environment PLUS a minimum of one-year supervisory experience.
  • Managerial, Analytical, and Technical skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows Server Systems, Active Directory, networking and backup policies.
  • Ability to lift equipment in excess of 20 lbs.
  • Ability to be on-call for 24/7 business when emergency situations arise.
  • Must obtain Key Gaming License upon hire.
  • Must submit a résumé.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of VMware, SQL, Oasis 360, Veeam Backup & Replication, Telephone Systems, POS Systems, Hotel Systems, Group Policy Management, File Server Management, and AS/400.
  • Experience in Indian Gaming.
  • Knowledge of NIGC MICS.

Responsibilities

  • Make recommendations to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively.
  • Mentor and provide training on all technical aspects, including network installation, systems design and maintenance to IT personnel.
  • Coordinate activity to ensure that all daily activities of the IT department are carried out.
  • Enforce compliance with all policies and internal control procedures as it pertains to the technology department.
  • Oversee the casino network and security of all data files.
  • Manage all systems, servers, networking components, computer hardware, software applications, training, budget, schedules, and employee evaluations.
  • Determine necessary purchases and acquisitions.
  • Evaluate, justify, plan and oversee new systems design and development.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of all IT procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the requirements and function of this position.
