IT Manager, greater Seattle area

Prowess Consulting•Bellevue, WA
•$140,000 - $185,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Prowess Consulting is hiring an IT Manager to lead its internal technology operations. The role reports to the CISO and leads a small team, with end-to-end ownership of internal technology operations, including budgeting, vendor management, hiring, internal platforms, and specified security and compliance controls. The position supports a distributed workforce across Washington, Ahmedabad, India, and remote locations worldwide. The IT Manager leads help desk operations and service expectations; administers Microsoft 365, identity and access, and endpoint systems; manages vendors, contracts, licensing, and assets; and maintains business continuity, security operations, projects, and documentation. The role uses a platform-centric, service-oriented approach, with infrastructure as code, version control, and repeatable deployments as standard practices. The role owns internal technology controls supporting ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications, HIPAA obligations, and GDPR-scoped data. It also supports and governs internal AI tooling, including access, permissions, acceptable use, and secure enablement of employee-built applications. The successful candidate should be able to assess risk and describe safe approaches that enable appropriate technology use. The environment is entirely cloud-hosted with minimal lab hardware; Azure and Entra underpin identity and infrastructure. This is a full-time hybrid position requiring two days per week in the Prowess office. Candidates must reside in the greater Seattle area. The offered pay range is $140,000–$185,000 per year, depending on experience.
