About The Position

Federated Insurance is seeking motivated students for their Summer 2027 IT Internship program. Requirements

• A junior or senior student pursuing a four-year degree in computer science, management information systems, programming, engineering, or a related technology field
• On track to graduate in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
• A minimum overall GPA of 3.5
• Demonstrate leadership, involvement outside the classroom, and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrate applied technical knowledge through coursework, projects, internships, or work experience
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
• Not seeking visa sponsorship (H1-B, J-1, F-1, or similar temporary work authorization)

Responsibilities

• Writing programs that satisfy requirements
• Conducting unit, system, regression, and acceptance testing
• Producing project documentation
• Participating in education sessions
• Working with others on progress and issues related to assigned work
• Collaborating with team members daily
• Maintaining the confidentiality of business and personnel information
